Privacy statement

Starring Joelle respects the privacy of its members and visitors, particularly their rights regarding the automated processing of personal data. For complete transparency, we have therefore formulated and implemented a policy concerning these processes, their purposes, and the possibilities for those involved to exercise their rights as effectively as possible.

For any additional information on the protection of personal data, please visit the website of the Dutch Data Protection Authority. The privacy policy made available to you is the only version that applies until a new version replaces the current one.

Section 1 - Laws

1. Your personal data is collected by Starring Joelle. Personal data is understood to mean: all information about an identified or identifiable natural person; an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, particularly by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier, or one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity of that natural person.

2. We process the following categories of personal data from you as a visitor to the website:
- IP address

3. We process the following categories of personal data if you subscribe to the newsletter or order "downloadables":
- Name
- Email address(es)

4. We process the following categories of personal data from website members:
- Name
- Email address(es)
- Phone number
- Address(es)

Section 3 - Processing purpose

We do not collect your personal data without reason. Your personal data is processed for:

- Maintaining relationships
- Processing orders
- Our membership administration
- Newsletter subscriptions
- Improving the website

Section 4 - Registering personal data

We store your personal data in electronic register.

Section 5 - your rights to personal data

1. Under Article 13(2)(b) of the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data, or to restrict the processing concerning you, as well as the right to object to the processing and the right to data portability. You can exercise these rights by contacting us at info@starringjoelle.com.

2. Each request must be accompanied by a copy of a valid identity document, bearing your signature and specifying the address where you can be contacted. You will receive a response to your request within 1 month of the submitted request. Depending on the complexity and number of requests, this period may be extended by 2 months if necessary.

Section 6 - legal obligations

In case of a violation of any law or regulation for which you are suspected and for which the authorities need personal data collected by the controller, this data will be provided to them upon an explicit and substantiated request from those authorities. Consequently, this personal data will no longer be protected by the provisions of this privacy statement.

Section 7 - commercial offers

1. You may receive commercial offers from the controller if you have given your consent. If you no longer wish to receive them, please send an email to the following address: info@starringjoelle.com.


2. Your data will not be used by partners for commercial purposes.

Section 8 - data retention period

The data collected by the administrator is used and stored for the duration as determined by law.

Section 9 - applicable law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. The court in the jurisdiction where the controller is established has exclusive competence in any disputes regarding these terms, unless a legal exception applies.
